My guess is you know nothing about e4ubank, in which case, why post? Nobody got even close to KO'ing him.
The problem is, many yanks know little about how good Eubank really was. I was never really a fan of his but one thing is for sure, he was the real deal. He was a very tricky fighter with a lot of power and good speed. He would have made the fight interesting. Although i like Toney and i would favour him to win this, you never quite know what form of Toney will enter the ring. If there is any weaken then Eubank would have exploited it. Guaranteed this would have been a brutal fight as both have solid chins!
Toney chased hard for that fight, while he was at smw, but Eubank wasn't interested. Eubank was happy to milk his SKY deal and face guys like Close, Storey and Schommer. As for the fight itself, Toney by ud: Athletic Attributes: Power: Eubank Handspeed: Toney Technical Attributes: Defense: Toney Offense: equal counterpunching: Toney Jab: Eubank Footwork: Eubank Blueprint fight: Toney-R.Johnson Toney beats him, by wide ud.
Eubank was a great showman, but he was also a great fighter. Wicked right hand and one thing that always impressed me about Eubank was he was ALWAYS in shape. This guy never slacked off. His work ethic is something very admirable. Which you can't say the same about Toney at least over 160. I still think Toney had the quicker hands and better technique. He didn't open up as much Eubank, but Eubank did have quick footwork. It would of been close, but perhaps I'd give the edge to Toney, tho maybe Eubank might of been highly motivated with the insults Toney launched. A pissed off Eubank could of upset Toney as well. Great fight that never happened, but I still think Toney the better fighter, just not the same legendary work ethic Eubank had.
Eubank must've had insane genes, because after severely draining himself to make weight just before each fight (and looking like an Ethiopian at weigh-ins) he'd come to the ring looking like a damn bodybuilder! He also claims he never touched weights (and wouldn't even do push-ups!).
Chris Eubank facts, by atberry Interesting breakdown...shame it's information that you've acquired from asking others on the forums rather than it being your own. So desperate to be taken seriously as a real boxing fan.
Eubank was a sharp counter-puncher with very sharp defensive reflexes, but then Toney was a textbook roller/slipper leading to counter rights. The offense I might go with Toney - Eubank was leaping when leading, Toney was trebling jabs with right hands to the head and left hooks to the body behind them. Speed of hand? I'd lean towards Eubank.
