I saw the session some years ago i remember that in one moment eubank put a combination of body punches really fast and explosive.
I wouldn't say he outclassed him but made him look very clumsy at times, landed a neat uppercut lead too.
Jr is all wrong for Froch, he has much better hand speed and a chin Froch can't crack. Froch isn't a master boxer he just has great cardio and a good punch with a solid chin. Jr beats him in everything except punching power, which Froch has an advantage in. Froch would get out worked and beaten to the punch the whole night and yes Jr was landing first not Froch.
That's why Froch was a world champion and CEJ is still fighting at British level. Whilst I believe Froch after all his bravado of being "too big, too strong" then retired, didn't fancy the Golovkin fight he had already a HOF career. CEJ on the other hand got what he asked for despite no victories over world class opposition only to choke and get shown up by a welterweight willing to fight the guy he's bottled from. Quack, quack.
Yeah but have you seen Eubanks six pack?! Nothing I have seen from Eubank so far has made me think he'd beat Froch over 12rds.
Both are aggressive fighters who like a dust up. Eubank looked good in the spar, alot of fighters would shy away. The reality is a championship fight would separate the men from the boys. It's highly unlikely that Eubank has his dads chin, heart and drive. Sadly for him Froch does have those qualities and that would make the difference the longer the fight goes.
it was just a spar the 2 fighters aren't even comparable. Jnr has everything yet to prove Froch has nothing to prove.
