I can't see it. I want my son to surpass my achievements such as they are. I'm sure Chris Eubank feels the same.

It's like a check hook he uses.

Eubank never played the villain. He was always the hero to those who understood.

If Eubank Jr. dedicates himself to the fight game and follows his father's guidance then he will be a huge success.

Will we have Groves, DeGale and Eubank Jr. all around the same weight? It could be like Watson, Benn and Eubank all over again!

anyone know who his pro trainer will be?

Mccracken or Booth would be my choices!

Maximo Pierret and Sr for technical and Scott Welch and Ronnie Davies generally, apparently.

I met him when he came to our gym sparring, he's sound & doesn't give it the whole my dad's eubank, his heads on his shoulders & he knows what he can achieve

Boxing wise I don't rate his footwork, but he might be more suited to pro boxing

    Indeed.

He was the clean living guy, with morals, which helped to make him the villain to most the public, strangely :huh

He did like to pose though.... which may have wound a few up. :D

****in hell, I have had a wee drink tonight, but that vid brought a wee tear to my eye!
Its just that name Eubank & the voice of Eubank snr... just makes old timers like me tingle with nostalgia!

Imagine the debates on brit ESB if the forums were around when Eubank, Benn & Watson were at their peak, with prime RJJ, James Toney & BHOP over the water...

damn I remember an old interview with Roy Jones jnr in boxing monthly(I think) back in the day, & he was talking about fighting Eubank, he said Eubanks style was so different it would have taken him a couple of rounds to figure him out before he beat him, & anyone who remembers just how amazing a prime RJJ was? That was a bit of a compliment if you aske me!

    That left hook looks beastly!

Could be a good opportunity for ITV to get back into boxing??? They'll get the viewers just from his name.

Eubank snrs boots are too big to fill, I feel sorry for the kid having to follow in his dads footsteps. Best of luck to him though!

When he eventually turns pro, is it going to be as big a deal as when Khan did, or a bit more muted?
