Eubank Jnr - Same music ring walk etc as his dad

Yes he clearly misses the ring, he will need to take a step back or it is inevitable that they will fall out. Perhaps it was for the show but I don't think so...

That was years ago when he was about 15.

 

Yeah that was borderline weird. I almost couldn't believe what I saw.

 

I think a lot of the whole thing was about big Chris saying, "look here he is my son I am proud of him".....I think it was the right thing to do, now thats over young Chris can concentrate on the boxing......I think It was like big Chris handing Jnr over to the fans if you get what I mean.

Maybe big Chris may go a bit overboard getting involved, regardless if he is your dad or not, who wouldnt want boxing advice from Chris Eubank.

 

Its his dad for crying out loud he can emulate him if he wants. He probably wont do it ever fight but thought it was fitting for his first fight to walk out with his legendary father.

 

It got a little bit much, but Hennessey's whole vibe is that of a cheap freakshow, so it was entirely fitting. Eubank Jr provided some boxing class at least: he defended himself, punched correctly, showed variety, used a brilliant jab... He's worth keeping an eye on at least.

 

Is this up on the internets yet? Would love to see it.

Like others have said, its probably just a one off thing. Pay his respects and get a bit of press. Sure he'll be his own man in fights to come. Glad to see he looked good.

Who knows maybe a Benn Jr v Eubank Jr in the future?

Had a look, unfortunately no dice in Oz.

My first memory of boxing was watching his old man fight Benn with my old man. Hope the lad goes places, by all accounts hes not bad at all.

i think it was a bit cringe worthy,at least when eubank snr was doing all his posturing and such it was a bit of a laugh,and he could take a joke as well.

at one point jnr went back to the corner and slapped his trainers hand away,he looks a right mard arse,a bit of a baby.

but he was a very good boxer,am looking forward to his next fights,looks class

 

spot on - also you got to remember it was the first thing up on channel 5's coverage; with hundreds of thousands of casuals tuning in - eubank is the first thing they see - memories of the good old days come flooding back, they then stay on and watch intrigued to see how his son does. clever move by hennessy /5 - by the time fury screws up, they'll have already have a headline replacement if eubank is as good as he looked first time out

I agree, he was almost identical to his dad and looks pretty decent Euabank Snr wasnt the most liked either, but great entertainer and boxer.

Im looking forward to see him progress.

 

Snap. I think the kid is excellent. He is DEFINITELY talented. Has some big shoes to fill. But personally i loved it.
The one thing alot of boxers fail to grasp is this is the entertainment business. And if fans are talking about you, no matter in what vein that is only a good thing. This kid has learnt from the best. I believe he'll go far.

 

That kid can box. Real talk. Head to head he's better than that muppet James DeGale who put on a weak display when he turned pro. I think the kid will go far. And on his name alone he's bound too. As long as he keeps on "entertaining" he will eventually become a household name like his dad. And who better to learn from. Il be watching him that's for dam sure.
