    Are you Dean Powell?

He's actually being tested early in his career unlike 90% of prospects, props to Hennessy for matching him Eubank tough, it will only make him a better fighter.

Pretty much exactly what you'd expect from an 8 fight novice then really.... I agree with the above post and thought he showed real flashes of potential last night. People calling for him to step it up and have tougher fights are ****ing morons. For the level he is at right now he has been matched very well, infact harsher than most prospects right now.

A ridiculous statement. Did you even watch him last night? Handling Pryce in that manner at that stage of his career was impressive.

My sister works for the production company that made that promo video for him, said he was a really nice guy, very shy. She got some gloves signed by him and his old man for me and she said it freaked him out being asked for an autograph and say there practicing it for ages before he signed them. Fflint y thing was she diet want to ask Chris snr cos she said he's and arrogant teat and she didn't want to give him the satisfaction!

    :goodCheers mate, interesting post.

I don't always buy into the 'act' with alot of fighters because I appreciate its a business.

It will be interesting to see how his public persona develops; will he just be himself or will he continue to tr and emulate his father?

The latter one will make him more of the 'bad guy' possibly, but then again nibody knows better than his dad that people will pay to see him lose!

Yes I watched the fight last night.

I would suggest you haven't seen many of Jr's fights. Ridiculous to think anything else...

If he was defensively cute but lacking in pop he might make a decent career for himself, but the truth is, he takes too many shots already and has absolutely no power.

Doesn't bode well for his long term achievements.

He'd still give Paul Smith a decent argument even at this stage.

Needs to use his jab more and stop looking for the asthetically pleasing pot shots.

When he jabs frequently and follows up he really troubles his opponents. Unfortunately he doesnt want to seem to do that though. Strange one.

Also, doesnt have any real power.
