spoke to george groves earlier , he has been sparring with eubank all week and has 2 more sessions booked in for next week , he says saunders will be knocked out by eubank .

THe typical boxer style of BJS has definitely been encountered by Eubank, he knows what he needs to do.

Saunders may be more experienced but he's not experienced when it comes to facing someone like Eubank.

it's not the fighter level it's the STYLE. eubank has seen that style plenty of times in the gym. when has bjs ever encountered such an unorthodox style that eubank employs? answer: never

cej has encountered bjs style before and is familiar with the things he needs to do to beat that style.

bjs hasn't encountered cejs style, he can only do what he's good at himself and hope it will be enough.

so what i'm saying is in a way cej has already fought bjs, but bjs has never fought cej. advantage cej.

cej could prove to be one step ahead in this fight, anticipating bjs moves and coming up with an answer when bjs has none

 

few things...saunders jab is often lazy and he overreaches with it regularly the eubank left hook will hurt him in the fight guaranteed.

bjs weight is predominantly on the front foot. His right hook and right hand power jab are the punches you need to look out for. If Eubank can focus on taking those out of play by angling off to the right, he neednt worry too much about saunders cross, cej could brutalize him with right hands. That said saunders does keep a good rear hand defense.

conditioning could turn out to play a massive part in this fight also, if eubank jr decides to pressure and stay on bjs face ala froch spar, i see him running bjs into the ground.

so many unknowns going into this fight tho.

 

eubank jnr is not dismantling nobody or nothing. he hit the last journeyman he fought fairly flush on the chin with one of hes "devastating" uppercuts and he followed it up he didn't drop hes man or KO him and billy joes resume is way way better than eubank jnrs billy joe is going to muller eubank. to be a great fighting man it takes a whole lot more than a surname! saunders is the sensible bet in this.
