That is not to say that is an issue at the moment, but it does need to be monitored, and I am sure it is.

 

It's refreshing to see. Old school mentality. However good or bad Junior proves to be, his braintrust is certainly bringing him along well and giving him the best chance to develope his talent.

 

Christmas is a tricky time for terrestrial TV- Hennessey would need to show that such a show would pull in big numbers to get the go ahead. I agree with the sentiment of your post however.

 

I think spreading them out and having more shows as a result is a better thing to do, then getting them all out at once. As you say, i don't think it would make THAT much difference to the numbers anyway.

Interestingly enough, last nights show did 1.2 mill for channel 5. That was up against some big hitters on the other channels aswell. Pretty decent.

Boxing has been good for Ch. 5 so far, and long may it continue.

 

He's only just had his eighth fight, that's why.

 

Depends on who he is fighting and it'll probably be a gimmee on one weeks notice.

Purely a business decision as its for exposure/money, can't see them testing him in anyway or having another learning fight.

 

At this stage its a good thing, of course it is ?

 

he's got some mouth damage from the pryce fight...so based on that, i may not be surprised if next weeks fight gets pulled.
