Too big , too quick, too tough. Cotto would have no chance, id advise him to bring the knee pads

Would favour Cotto because he is the more proven fighter.

Cotto would beat Jr, although jr did well tonight.

Eubank would have a serious height and reach advantage, he can move too. Young fresh and has a chin. Would be desperate to win.

With the right gameplan I couldnt see cotto winning bar a savage one punch game changer but keep in mind this is a guy who will probably move up to supermiddle against a worn down 140 pounder who was in a lot of wars. Dont think Cotto could get past the jab for enough rounds and them uppercuts would hurt him badly.

Please dont overate junior based on his performance against a plodder, that may of been easy work and his best win. but cotto is an elite boxer, and eubank jr has serious footwork issues. strength and speed belong to chris but his footwork is still poor and his punching technique is still raw.

Come on though man I agree with you to an extent, but Cotto couldnt be far off being done. He beat Martinez whos knee was ****ed after that first knockdown for the entire fight. Martinez was a small middleweight Eubank is a young massive middleweight in his physcial prime. Cotto has been hurt by the likes of Malignaggi and if that Martinez win was due to injuries when was the last time he looke good or got a good win. Being the younger , quicker more determined man will be enough to beat cotto. Eubank would be able to hurt him, and I think he has enough to avoid being knocked out.

Personally I could see either guy winning, I don't think Cotto is guaranteed to win or that it would be easy for him but I favour him simply because he is actually proven at the top level whereas Eubank Jr is not. Cotto's skills are proven at the top level, he is a lot more experienced at a higher level and he has looked good in his last couple of fights. Chris has a good chance though because he has some good attributes plus a significant size advantage but we're yet to see how he would deal with someone with Cotto's skill level and experience and how he would react to being hit with the kind of shots that hurt Rodriguez and Martinez.

yeah walking into a big shot is the only thing that would worry me, cotto is still savy and Eubank takes wile risks and is just a wild fighter really, but still the size stamina and speed and youth are just too much to overcome for most of the fight
