He landed several leaping left haymakers on groves jaw and NOTHING happened. Groves was not just unhurt, his head didnt even snap to the side even though they landed CLEAN.
When anyone with atleast some power lands a shot that wild, it atleast shows some effect, especially against someone with an average chin like groves.

Didnt say groves had a bad chin. But unless his name is James Toney, a leaping HAYMAKER landed on his jaw should show atleast some effect

I gave Jnr full credit for his courage and desire. But he needs a firm, well credentialed trainer and he needs to listen to them. I think he'd be better suited back at 160. But he doesn't beat GGG, Canelo or BJS.

When eubank fought groves I wanted eubank to lose. But I'm a realist. Eubank is still dangerous and what makes him dangerous is his speed power and chin with his athletic ability

What power. What athletic ability? He looked terribly uncoordinated his feet were terrible.
Hes decently fast but very little power and he has a great workrate if the guy is there to be hit. But not athletic despite the look of his body and not powerful

You can't write the dude off on one performance. Maybe overrated for sure but still an exciting fighter.

    This is true.

You can't throw the baby out with the bathwater when discussing Eubank. He has a place in boxing, both him and his father bring theatre and entertainment which is what the sport is all about.

Saying that, currently he has no business fighting for legitimate world titles. He needs to return down to domestic/euro level, to focus on improving the fundamentals, which is what he should have been doing at the beginning of his career instead of fast tracking himself through to rankings relying on hype to secure the big paydays.

I'd still fancy him to have a chance beating the likes of Degale and Lemuiex. But he will never become a truly elite fighter. The boy doesn't even know how to set traps, he has absolutely no ring IQ and barely any defense. He's more or less a b level glorified brawler. Saying that he should stay in the game, earn himself a good wage and retire without the delusions of grandeur.

I get that he needs to retool his game, or try to, but he would beat Truax. Degale's performance vs fringe man Truax was a lot worse than Jr's vs Groves, for me anyway.
