@ the canvas. He looks good tbh but look at what's in front of him. Lad didn't show a great deal. I think fella suited him to a tee. Needs to calm down a bit and pick shots but it's the AM's so suppose that's why he unloads so much. Exciting style.
Bit of a buzz building over him now isnt there? I guess he is having lots of am fights over here in preparation for him going pro in the next year or so
His only loss so far was against a 24-year-old when he was 18, in the National Golden Gloves in the States. He lost by 1pt. Mike McCallum says he bettered Judah in sparring. And Jim McDonnell claims he floored Groves.
At around 1.40 after he throws the single jab, he shoots a straight right hand in and looks uncannily like his Dad for a second.
I hope he floored Groves in the first round or I'm not impressed, there isn't a man alive that hasn't floored George in sparring.
He isnt being brought a long like any other am or pro prospect they seem to be moving him about lots of activity lots of training different fights amateur then sparring with pros etcetc. Thats what his dad did so I can see the sense in it but i dont know if having a weight of expectation is good....
Dropped groves in sparring? Where does this BS come from? This kid looks good, hope he has the dedication to make it as a pro when he does eventually choose to.
