He shouldn't even get ahead of Murray, a lad who's never ducked anyone.

In fact, Murray called Eubank Jn out a few months ago and he didn't even acknowledge it.

Murray's on the slide. Looked poor in Monte Carlo. Would be a good fight for Jr. I'd expect him to win. Just shows how poor Sr's management is that these fights that make a lot of sense don't even get considered.

Eubank beats Murray on points wide
Groves eubank would be a lot closer but we don't no how he is at the weight yet and eubank hasn't beat anyone with quality yet and groves is world class and can bang I think groves wins on points only worry is that if he tires late on

I rate the kid. Think hes gonna get stronger. But its car crash stuff from them at the minute. Think the jump up in weight will suit him tho was starting to look a bit dry. Legs like twigs.

Think hes gonna end up a big puncher...already has a half decent dig. Footworks terrible tho. Thing that will hold him back. Goes from looking genuine world class to an amateur...sometimes in the same round. A bit like the old man goes from looking like a genuis to a numpty sometimes in the same sentence. But mostly hes just a numpty. Hard to slate him too much tho cause say what you want the guy was a proper warrior in his fighting days.

Not a bad fight for eubank junior taking away the itv ppv angle...maybe a slight step up from the usual cannonfodder. Just what he needs as opposed to another domestic level opponent or golovkin.

Need to edit this post just had a look at the guys record...looks no better than the usual cannonfodder.

    Arghhhh so frustrating

Has the right idea with going to terrestrial TV and then kills it by making it box office?!?

The best idea is to have one or two competitive fights on free to air. And then undercut Sky by doing Golovkin-Eubank Jr as an ITV PPV

At least that way something is being built up

Groves would keep Eubank Jn at the end of his jab all night long. Not even in the same league.

Eubank vs Murray would be a good fight but agree that it looks like Martin's had too many tough fights now. No way that Eubank sparks him though.

British level fighter until he proves otherwise.

I bet Eddie Hearn, Sky and the Matchroom stable had a bit of a giggle about this and the fact they are claiming the IBO is a world title.

Within the last few weeks Jr was on twitter asking (begging) Hearn for what would have been an easy payday on Dec 10th, apparently Hearn told him there was no space on the bill and then added others.

Hearn must have known this deal was going in the background and blanked Jr, I'm just not understanding it.

It's not a bad fight for Quinlan. Renold will raise his profile based on the recognizability Eubank name. The IBO title is rarely noted on its own but a good title holder can make a title mean something. Can't fault Quinlan really.
