It's a good fight for Jr to showcase himself and he will.

Eubank is already looking past Doran. He claims he's wants to fight GGG ASAP.

    Eubank on GGG

"[I'll fight him] right now, tomorrow if possible," Eubank Jr told Sky Sports News HQ.

"I really believe I'll be in the ring fighting for a world title towards the end of this year. I need to get a couple more fights, defend the British belt a few times, then jump in there and win myself a [world] title belt."

I get why Eubank took the Ryder fight but defend the British title all he is going to do is rack up the wins.

    Can't he go European route

Disagree strongly......keeler was wild, Not Doran. For me Doran was coolness oersonified. How he got up to fight back from that right hand booms amazes me. It was like getting hit with a pick axe! Keeler has got huge power, but was hot headed and wild....but Doran was cool calm and collected.

Which is basically the same as being signed to matchroom.

I def get the impression that Eddie Hearn has a soft spot for keeler. Even though doran is now 2-0 with keeler, Eddie speaks very highly of Luke and seems keen to organise doran-keeler 3!!!

Will have to agree to disagree mate. Imo the both loaded up and got dragged into a war. With Doran landing the heavier shots. Credit to him getting up after the heavy knock down though.

Like Doran good British level fighter, good to watch but CEJ is levels above him and will hammer him. For a late fight to the bill it's still a good one in some ways but I feel Doran is getting David Brophy treatment thrown in at the deep end, fighting someone levels above all his previous opponents.

He's had more showcases than Bruce Forsyth.

I agree..after he won prizefighter it should have been onwards and upwards, but he stagnated for ages. In fact Luke keeler, who he beat in prizefighter, seemed to get a lot more support from Eddie Hearn.
Doran has subsequently beaten keeler a second time and Eddie is talking about a third keeler fight ......which keeler has everything to gain from, not Doran. Eddie seems more interested in keeler than in Doran IMO.

Well he didn't manage or promote keeler either at the time....I just feel it was a tad unusual how Matchroom the organisers of prizefighter pretty much overlooked the Winner in favour of a man he beat.....

Not every prizefighter winner has signed to matchroom. I don't see wat matchroom have done in favour for keeler. The mention of a 3 Rd is down to how the 2nd fight panned out.
