Lee Selby has just been added to the eubank undercard defending his world title, fair play to the eubanks / itv for putting a half decent undercard together, weather it should be ppv is very questionable, but if it was for free i'd definitely tune in, will i pay for it? na ill probably stream it like i did the last one.
its just annoying they are charging for it, if it was on free TV it would probably get hundreds of thousands people watching and then the interest would be there so when eubank has a big fight it could be on ppv.
When this ITV Eubank deal was initially announced I always thought... the sensible thing to do would be to put on the first few shows for free... even if that means take a hit on the first couple of shows... they get consumer confidence, get more people tuning in and then a year down the line with all production issues ironed out and shows running well they go to PPV with good match ups. I think if they had gone that route they would have more people tuning into the PPV's... I wont be buying not least because i am not a fan of the eubanks but because these are not currently ppv worthy imo.
exactly my thoughts, itv free view is a huge oppertunity to get loads of people watching and more casuals into eubank, but putting it on ppv restricts the number of people that will see the show meaning when there is a ppv worthy fight down the line then they wont get as many buys as they should.
Yeah, I agree. The previous undercard was decent as well, I think if that had been free and they charged this one they would do better numbers. Not that I personally give a **** about the numbers to be honest.
More value for money than the Quinlan joke of a PPV, but still not PPV worthy Let's hope they keep stepping in right direction and one day produce a ppv worhy card
Why not? he's only 27 and i cant see him fighting on sky or Bt due to the difficulties hearn and warren have had dealing with eubank sr, so i see him being on itv for the foreseeable future.
Yuuup. He is super mega hyper overrated. His fame is based on his dads name. Younger Abraham beats him for sure, but we can't tell how much does it left in him. Wouldn't be surprised if eubank gets exposed even now.
