Rumours circulating about this potential matchup.

Very unlikely it gets made but prime for prime 160, who wins.

For me Brook is the far better fighter (P4P) but Eubanks chin and engine (when he had both of these attributes, a long time ago now) would be too much at 160.

Prime for prime Brook is streets ahead of Eubank, its not even close, but obviously a different weight class.

This is an awful fight at this time

At 160lbs any version of young CHRIS smashes Kell Brook to pieces

Eubank would have won back in the day purely on his engine/chin and size.

Divorce + new kid with Ebanie OnlyFans = we will definitely see Brook back in the ring this year at least once (not counting the Hatton tribute fight).

I think the Hatton tribute fight (worthy cause nonetheless) will see an announcement soon after that Brook has his hunger back.

He's 39 and as posters like yourself have said a new lifestyle in Australia which is a very expensive place to settle and a divorce and all that comes with that he will happily fight Jr and take what he can, while he can.

Honestly I feel the Brook who fought GGG would have beaten Eubank Jr at Middleweight; to my mind Brook is possibly the most skilled and talented British fighter of recent times, and the GGG fight probably represents his athletic peak. It is just unfortunate Brook was in with a monster that night.

The management (or lack of) of Brook is the worst management I can recall in recent times. Sending him in with GGG goes down as the worst decision in British boxing this century.

I agree; at that point Khan had signed on to fight Canelo, and I think Brook felt pressure to match or one up him. He really needed people with his best interests at heart to talk him out of it.

I agree to an extent on chin but he had an excellent gas tank imo

Used to go for walks and fight in two 30 second bursts a round against his massively overmatched opponents. Especially early on.

Let’s not forget why Brook was in there with Golovkin, because Eubank didn’t want any of it. He just wanted to pretend he did. Wasn’t this the occasion where he lost his pen so Brook stepped up two divisions to have a go. Ballsy, but a bit daft, was a detriment to rest of his career. The difference Eubank picked on smaller opponents most of his career. Ironic as the two who ironed him out were from 2/3 weights below Super middleweight where he had loads of fights.

It was his Dad who ****ed up for him. He started making crazy demands and Hearn pulled the plug. In hindsight I do wonder if Eubank snr was protecting his son, he knew what was about to go down
