Supposedly Eubank Jr vs DeGale will be one of the first fights to kick off 2019 with ITVs new 3 year fight deal they have in play. A pretty good first fight to attract the casual audience, despite boxing hardcores knowing of DeGale's deterioration and Eubank Jr purely being not as good as he's been hyped up to be by his father and many fans. Saying all this however, it's still a fight I would find entertaining and be interested in watching. How do you guys see this one going if it does get confirmed and who do you back to win?

I'd imagine he's gonna sign Ohara Davies and Bradley Skeete

CEJ will be too much for a shot Degale. Late stoppage win for CEJ.

Ive never seen a fighter as shook as DeGale whenever young Christopher of the manor’s name is mentioned.

Deputy English better be there to intervene.

Eubank too much energy for Degale when he’s being lazy on the ropes. Degale is shot for me.

Eubank absolutely mauls him. DeGale is shot to bits. Easiest fight to call in boxing this one. The styles make fights and Eubank is totally all wrong for DeGale.

Even a prime DeGale loses to the relentless Christopher Livingstone Eubank.

It'll be competitive. Eubank workrate should cause Degale problems as he just goes to the ropes and let's fighters wale in on him of late. That said Eubank has a very poor boxing IQ for world level, he is a poor man's Truaux in some ways as he doesn't know how to work his way in, just walks in straight lines and Degale will likely have some success with his jab and countering on an easy target (see Groves fight).

I'm gonna go against the grain and say Degale wins a very sloppy fight by a close decisions, maybes somewhat controversial but a fight no one really wants to see a second part of.

DeGale in his prime used to take about 6 rounds a fight off.

How's he going to win enough rounds against the relentless, granite-chinned, come-forward physical machine that is Christopher Livingstone Eubank? How?

Dunno, maybes drop him with a jab like Groves did or basically just use some lateral movement and completely befuddle him?

Degale is levels above CEJ on a bad day. Eubank is just to crude, will eat shots trying to jump in with a 5 shot combo and then eat shots on the way out with low gloves. Or CEJ pummels a lazy Degale.

    Will be interesting.

I think Degale wins on points. Truax is levels above Eubank and Eubank can be timed easily on the way in. Eubank is a rubbish fighter. Degale only needs to win 7 rounds.
