Froch's work was blocked for the most part. Eubank Jr did land some good shots flush on Froch & froch got backed up a couple of times. Froch didnt look that great i didn't think. Froch probably was alot more tired from all the hard training compared with Eubank Jr. Froch was also throwing the lead uppercut quite abit as well, which is especially dangerous against someone with faster hands, looking to land left hooks.
Eubank is a future world champion. He's a pisstaker and you can see when he switches on. He clearly had Frovh backing off there.
Wow Eubank Jr is making me like him more and more. Say what you want about it only being sparring but Froch is a smw with 2 world titles, Eubank jr is just stepping out of Novice status. Im starting to think BJS is gonna be in trouble if they fight
Good spar for both guys. Froch did seem fatigued from the start, so it does appear likely he'd already had a fair bit of work before starting with Eubank. One thing I've noticed about Carl is the nature of his relationship with Rob McCracken. I noticed it before, the extent to which Froch relies on his trainer to talk him through sparring. A lot of the instructions he was giving his fighter were very basic, the kind of stuff you'd think a veteran world champion would do automatically - i.e. when to stay in and when to move out of the pocket, when to roll, switching between head and body. Perhaps it was down to the fact he'd already had a lot of work and had emptied the tank by this point, affecting his concentration. If this was him sparring one of the brightest young talents in the sport after doing multiple rounds, then Froch was impressive. If he started fresh, he wasn't. We'll find out on Saturday night.
