Just watched the full web cam discussion and despite my obvious dislike for Eubank and like for Smith I actually felt sorry for him. He really looks like he doesn’t want to know and wishes he isn’t there. Smith had a field day with him and Eubank looked stupid and laughable numerous times.

I personally think he should not have taken the rematch. I don’t think he wanted it as shown by the long delays putting the request in followed by delays signing and looking at the Benn fight. I think that was definitely his first choice, which suggests he was weary of getting in with Smith again. When that option dried up and there were no other money fights he had to do something. Was it a necessity to save face and rematch?

Could he be doing it solely for the money? Hoping to get through it for a Benn fight or something similar to cash out. I think he knows the way the sport is now barring another heavy stoppage he can still get fights like the Benn one and make a fortune.

Eubank’s face looks massive for only 4 weeks away. Smith looks like he’s virtually there.

He’s not even deluded now: he doesn’t believe what he’s saying, he’s just saying it, like a robot or something or like he has to say it. He gulped a few times through his Adams apple after embarrassing himself.

Switching trainer four and a half weeks out is just hideous. ‘The proof is in the pudding’ he said regarding his choice, ummmm what? Bo Mac has been with Crawford for 25 years, and you’re not Crawford.

The lad is completely clueless, and in a bad spot. Could be brutal (and dangerous) this one.

But Young Christopher has the warriors code. He was built to be a superior pugilist. He doesn’t need advice or a trainer for that matter and he has proven it his entire career.
He is cut from a different cloth.

That KO loss to Smith involved an illegal elbow. He was robbed on the judges cards against Groves and BJS. In all reality, we have an undefeated boxer here ready to right the wrongs of the Smith loss.

The confidence just oozes off Christopher in the face off, you would be a fool to bet against him so you would. In 4.5 weeks with BoMac he will be just as good as Amir Khan was against Kell Brook.

I never understand the anti Jr vibes here, but I think that knowing him a bit, as I do, may colour judgement in the boxing sense.

Never in a bad fight, always great in buildups, if he's as **** as some say then a seriously overachieving career, and the antithesis of the dull-as-ditchwater fighters that I myself find boring. I prefer the sport to be full of characters.

I’m not sure I agree with rematches in boxing unless they are for the number one spot in the division or if the first fight demands one like Lewis Holyfield and Froch Groves. I think both rematches for Eubank Jnr and Joyce will end pretty much the same. Bad team choices.

Definitely shouldn’t have taken this fight. And probably should have went up in weight.

Glad for Smith that he is getting a decent payday again. He deserves it. The reality is he barely clipped Eubank and had him all over the place.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he knocked him out cold this time.

I concur with that view. The Smith family have a whole chip shop on their shoulders. They're that bitter about everyone and everything, it's mind boggling. They walk around constantly miserable as if they've all just been told their missus is shagging around on them. When it's probably the opposite that is true.

That Paul Smith ****. He'll cry when someone innocent gets shot or stabbed in a gangland incident in Liverpool, but he'll have no hesitation in linking up with anything MTK associated. He forgets morals then. Gutter human being.

It's such a shame as what they have achieved as a family on boxing is quite astonishing.

Good job winning fights has zero to do with personality then. Safin argued with me Eubanks charisma would knock Smith out.

Smith should have forced him to 154. Simple. Everything was on the other fellas terms the first time around and in what world should someone get a rematch when banged out like that early. Oh yes a silver spooned one. I genuinely believe Smith wasn’t fussed about fighting him again so he was win win if Eubank said no. Eubank couldn’t have he was going lower for the freak show Benn fight wasn’t he? Smith looks like he’d rather have pushed for a title. He’d have got less money and obviously that’s a factor but I think he values winning more.
