He lost muscle and that intense style he had. The strength and intensity is what made up for the poor technique.

Good point regarding Benn Snr. You only have to see him in that gladiator program he did with Eubank Snr to see how he came across like a petulant child with a chip on his shoulder. He does seem a lot nicer guy now though tbf.

 

What had Nate Vasquez ever done for that matter either?

I remember when Sr wanted Shane McGuigan to train him after the Groves defeat. Jr shut it down..

 

I agree, I'm not a big fan of him but you have to show sympathy for what he has been through - must of been an awful time for him and boxing wise not really sure how anyone could be 100% focused after that.

I do think Smith will win the rematch, but see it going into the later rounds this time

 

Really looking forward to the rematch. Was delighted that Liam won having always supported him, and I thoroughly enjoyed Eubank doing the funky chicken dance after getting up off the canvas.

That said, Junior has been very entertaining throughout his career. Despite his technical limitations, he's been a very tough, durable lad. I believe he's done now though and there for the taking, much like how Degale was for him a few years back.

 

He was drained hes so much more talented and has better personality than the gormless smith fella who went all red when he said about cheating on wife if he has done that hes lower than worms belly he is a chav in my humble view smith where eubank is a decent young man hes got more talent in his wee pinky than smith in his whole body and I mean that
