A young, interesting, well-spoken, apparently very talented fighter with name recognition from fight 1, fighting on terrestrial TV. Mick may even struggle to **** this one up:think

5 years from now Eubank Jnr is 31-0 and 'doing it the right way' defending his European title against a frenchman who has never been stopped(25-9-2)

Not too sure about his choice. Now Frank ****** has box nation and Eddie hearns connections with sky I kind of think it's the wrong choice. Hopefully Mick keeps the ch5 deal sweet and doesn't blow like usual!

surely the fact hes singed with henny and channel 5 are intrested in showing him ,they must be making some sort of commitment to it at least for the next 18 months

Clever move from Eubank. He should stick to Hennessy for the next two years whilst he builds his following. The terrestrial exposure will hold him in good stead as his career progresses. Better choice than going on Sky or Boxnation where only a 100,000 or so would see him.

    This....

If they can put some decent cards together, he could have viewing figures in the high to mid hundreds of thousands. Some of the casual fans would know who he is, and create a good following if he ever does makes it to genuine PPV stardom.

Makes sense in the short-term although I'm still quite surprised he didn't go with Matchroom.

Actually, I bet it's the Channel 5 deal that really makes Mick the best choice. Eubank is still a name in the mainstream. Dad will be a big part of the promotion and this will bring in big interest. If that deal runs out, do you really think Matchroom won't still want him?

Terrestrial > Sky - every time! Calzaghe was not the name he became until he featured on ITV.

Eubank, always a self-aware man at the best of times.
