So have they left because matchroom didn't put their money where their mouth is and go in with a big hefty purse bid for Eubank Jr?

The personality of the Eubanks ****es people off enough without them going out of their way to burn bridges in a small industry. Interesting to note that this is the 2nd highest British Title bid. How much was the highest?

Good for them Matchroom and Sky are killing boxing just like they killed football and darts.

Unless they are deciding to go to America full-time and work with Haymon or GBP/Top Rank, then this is a truly baffling decision. They've effectively burnt their bridges with the two premier promoters in the UK. Such extraordinary lengths to duck Sugar Nick Blackwell.

Lol without sky there would be no darts. Well other than that joke you see on the bbc once a year.

You can't be serious.. Darts is freaking huge. Crossed over to the mainstream with sky sports. Compare the PDC to the BDO and then come back with your sky killed darts comments.

You are sky hater with no idea what you are talking about.

Again sky didn't kill football either.

As for the eubanks, this is a bad move if you ask me. Hearn put in a good offer and was right not to go as high as Hennessey.

So the eubanks walk away from sky coverage and now go where. Back to boxnation!

Not a smart move at all.

You like the over the top razzamatazz Sky coverage and paying for ad riddled tv, I get it, but understand not everyone's the same as you.

But the fans clearly like as do the dart players who can actually make very good money doing what they do thanks to sky.

The football clubs again love the money sky brings to the table which hey presto again pays the players.

So you have no actual valid opinion to back up your claim that sky have killed football and darts then.

I get you might not like watching sky coverage of both sports but to say they have killed both sports. Come on dude, you gotta try harder then that.

When you consider that much of Eubank jnr's exposure is because of who his father is/was, and less to do with his talent, then HTF do they think they will make things work with Haymon ?

I'm pretty certain nobody in the States, except die hard boxing fans of a certain age, would have any idea who any of the Eubanks are.

I'm not sure he's any better than British/Euro level, and really don't see any attraction for an American promoter.

They got more exposure and more hype in the 2 fights with Sky and was taken more seriously than they ever were before. It seems a really strange decision as Sky presents Eubank with everything he needs. Very strange, will be disappointed not to see him as often now.
