He often went down to the level of his opponent, like has been said, he just did enough.

Read the article nowhere does he say he would have ended there careers. He compliments both RJJ's and Toney's ability and says he is glad he never fought them. The one thing he does say is he thinks after fighting him they would not be the same, so he believes he would have given them a tough fight and taken something out of them in the process but nowhere does he even say he would beat them, he even says he would not be the same himself now had he fought them.

Some of the fans on here are seriously delusional, a prime toney squeaked split decisions against Sosa and Johnson, lost in the eyes of any neutral to Dave Tiberi and drew with Sanderline Williams, yet you ham n eggers claim that Eubank would have no chance versus Toney :nut:lol::lol::lol::lol::rofl:patsch

Delusional Atberry.. He likes to make **** up and act like it is true.. Weird little fantasy land that man lives in. In another thread he went as far as to say Toney was better than Roy Jones, and also that without steriods, Jones would have campained at 147, but wouldn't have been a champion.

i really don't like listening or reading of some old guy/boxer talking about what he would have done against this guy or that guy.

Roy Jones would have smoked Eubank.. Eubank would have been standing there with a confused look on his face, getting punched from all angles, much like Toney.

And Nunn completely schooled him for 9-10 rounds, far more impressively than Jones did a near-dead Toney.

But when James moved up at 168lbs, no longer struggling with weight, he became a world-beater, a dominator, a sensation, the best fighter on the planet... the DeWitt, Barkley, Littles and Prince Charles performances were sick...ill. He didn't like mobile fighters, but when going skill-for-skill with no running or chasing from either man, against the grandmaster Mike McCallum, he showed what a top, top all-time operator he was.

Eubank was far too good defensively in his prime to be smoked by ANYBODY.
