    Couldn't agree more.

But Benn only needs to land once, and if anybody could catch Jones clean and hard, it was surely Benn. KTFO.

Cotto is nothing like Benn. A lot less athletic and explosive.

Eubank was one of my favorite fighters at the time and was great for boxing over here but imo he avoided any fight against Jones! At that time Jones would have done anyone anywhere near that weight!! Love how everyone seems to think of Jones as a glass jaw dumping and forgetting the fact he was one of the best fighters in recent times! If Floyd got sparked in his next cpl fights would he be thought of as a joke????

Floyd has fought both Hernandez's, both Castillo (x2, first fight one-handed!) and Corrales (best performance in history?), Jesus Chavez, Gatti, Judah, Ricky, Marquez, Cotto all at their very best!

Roy fought nobody even remotely close to their best, with the exceptions of Griffin, Harding, Ruiz, Tarver - all of whom put schoolings on him, knocked him out or were the most limited champion at their weight ever.

Eubank's argument was that a fight with Toney would have been an all out war with both of them beating the hell out of each other and neither backing off, and he'd already had wars with Benn and Watson and they'd taken years off of him so he had no desire to seek another one especially as he was about to have one in his rematch with Benn. Toney to Eubank represented Waston 2 all over again. A fight that likely would end the career of one of them, so I feel its understandable why he didn't want the fight.

Saying Mayweather reminds him of himself because Mayweather is a complete fighter hardly suggests humility. Also suggesting superior fighters to him like Roy Jones Junior and James Toney would never have been the same after fighting him hardly smacks of humility. Eubank never had a signature win against 1 of the top American fighters. Benn to his credit defeated G-Man Gerald McClellan a fight he had no right to win really but triumphed over adversity.

Most fighrters would have said they would have smashed them, so to recognise that he would have lost does show humility...

Also with Eubank you knew he wasn't afraid of a war, so regardless of losing he would have tested both Toney and RJJ big time!!!

When did Eubank say he would've lost?

Difference being Benn won't last the distance.

I would not denigrate Chris Eubank as he was a true fighting but he had technical deficiencies as a fighter and was not as good as either Jones or Toney. Frankly Michael Nunn, Sumbu Kalambay, Mike McCallum and others were better.
