Did any of ye see Eubank on the Late Late Show on RTE TV last night? I was out - the missus saw him, but she was only half paying attention. She says he never mentioned Junior at all, (he normally is obsessed with Jrs career), and that he says he is training for a fight with Nigel Benn. Wierd stuff if true??
The Benn/Eubank "trilogy" has been talked about for 2-3 years now and still nothing's come of it. The impression I get is that Benn wants it more, but Eubank - as ever - over complicates everything with his demands.
I must try to see a replay. But from what she says he really is in training for a rematch with - she thinks - Benn. Maybe he meant Collins?? Anyway Eubank seems to got over his fussy demands and is getting down to business. Will anything come of this? Watch this space!

Pretty much this. They did a ridiculous 'challenge' show a few years ago wherein the two took each other on at various tasks. It was mortifying to watch although it did have a funny moment when they were racing around a track holding weights and as Benn took a rest whilst seemingly well ahead Eubank sneakily surged past him to win. Benn was so enraged that he then proceeded to sprint a lap around the course with the weights to 'prove a point'. This lap whilst impressive, proved nothing other than that Benn was an athletic idiot. I'm betting he's still an idiot.
