Their card? The Fight went to purse bids and Warren out- bid everyone with a £300,000 offer because he wanted to give his fighter his chance at the title .Why would he jeopardise that? It isn't logical at all ,its patent nonsense! The Eubanks are a couple of Knobs that are impossible to deal with.

Yeah training for 8 weeks for f8ck all, I bet he's over the moon. Warren will now find a substitute to meet him then sue the Eubanks for the difference in revenue and for the disparity in Langford's purse.

And i hope he gets every penny. The eubanks are a joke. Eddie and Fwank need to pull together here and freeze them out, the eubanks are nothing without a british promoter with t.v, they need to say enough is enough and call it a day with the eubanks

It wasn't £300,000, it was £150,000. Eddie Hearn confirmed this in a Ifl Tv interview.

With regards the purse bid Warren in his interview with Steve Lillis said he paid over the odds and he had won with a bid of £300 k.

With regards the p***ing off various promoters cast your minds back to the Jr v Spike O'Sullivan build up.

Matchroom and sky had given it a big promotional push with the 'gloves are off' show and a lot of build up on SS news etc they wanted to really develop Jr's marketability to the casuals because that's what sells. After the SOS match he walked away.

Fair enough if you want to keep your options open if you have them, but to me you want to have the two biggest domestic promoters fighting over signing you not burning bridges. It all makes no business sense to me,bizarre.

Warren paid £300,000, it's in the Steve Lillis interview.

Jezz why are people so bothered about the Eubanks behaviour? Nobody here wanted to see him beat up Langford in another easy fight anyway. Frank and the Hearns have over a 25 year history with the Eubanks - they will be more then happy to do business with them in the future if it makes £ so all this nonsense about them freezing them out is laughable.

And Frank putting Snr *******d son on the card was a deliberate attempt to jump on a touchy subject for his own gain (which I found amusing myself) . Frank is probably secretly happy the Eubanks have pulled out anyway as it saves him a couple Quid on purses and he can get Tommy an easier fight for the vacant British.

    £300k seems steep for a British Title fight- Blackwell/Eubank Jr was £260k. I'd imagine it's nearer 150k.

Do we know much about this Wilson lad in terms of boxing ability?
Fact is, it's a great move signing him. It could be a great future payday for Warren if they build his profile, run up a number of victories against weaker boxers, much like Connor Benn.

I've never seen him box but people who have said he has no real potential to do much in the sport. 28 years old with no real amateur pedigree.

We all know why Frank signed him and why he tried to put him on the undercard. It was an idiotic move from a man supposedly keen to get the Langford fight on and for the Eubanks to appear at the press conferences.

It was a low class attempt to antagonise the Eubanks.

if that is true about warren signing the kid just to get at the eubanks is anybody surprised they walked, warren is a pretty unlikeable fella so who cares. It was a mismatch anyway, langford misses out on decent money but keeps his teeth.
