    I find it amusing that Roy Jones fanboys point out that fighters like Eubank, Benn, Mcclellan, DM, Calzaghe, Nunn and Collins didn't bring anything to the table, and it didn't make sense for Roy to fight these guys. These guys were top fighters, and were all desperate to face Roy. I guess the same fanboys must have been elated when Roy was announcing fights against Derrick Harmon, Rick Frazier, Glenn Kelly and Otis Grant.

    Why would you think that?
    Eubank had a far greater resume than Jones at SMW

    I really don't think Eubank wanted any part of Roy Jones at all. Not at all. He knew he wouldn't win against Jones.

    But i agree Eubank definitely had the better SMW resume.

    Man toney always had this problem. Im just getting sick and tired of the excuses. In one of Toneys last fights, at MW I think, where he fought a guy who came to win which made toney struggle, but he got the victory, he went on to blame weight as the problem, how it was a hard to cut the weight. Toney has and always struggled at the MW/SMW fights and people make excuses for his bad performances based on this.

    One could say the same for Nunn, Nunn was on cocain during the time he was fighting Toney. So Toney beat a coked out Nunn who wasnt at his best? Do you see how stupid this is? Toney didn't look anymore speculator against Barkley, Barkley doesnt have the predigree that Jones had, he wasn't running around making Toney tired and making him miss. Lets not confuse ourselves here. Do you think Toney wouldve loss the fight against Jones if Jones choose to fight on the inside? He would not have been talking about his weight at all if this occurred. Coming into the fight Toney spoke about how he is ready for the fight, in great shape, and how he was going to KO Jones. Then after getting thoroughly dominated, o I had massive weight issues. The reason he loss the fight was because Jones was better and he underestimated his ability. Thats it.

    In an interview back in 07, Eubank all but said he ducked Jones, because it was a fight that was not worth the risk. He all but said Jones would defeat him too, but that it wouldve left Jones a completely different fighter afterwards.

    But Eubanks changes his tune like the weather, this guy is all over the place. At his best he would lose to RJJ, Calzaghe, and Toney.

    Fighter of the 90s means nothing, Pacquiao won the fighter of the 2000's award, but you and I both know that's a load of bull****.

    When Jones was forced to fight on an even playing field (caught using steroids), and stopped avoiding challenges, he got brutally stopped repeatedly. When Calzaghe stepped up, he beat the likes of Lacy, Kessler and Hopkins :hi:

    Jones lost his skills when he thought it was a good idea to drop 25 pounds of muscle.

    Calzaghe had skills but waited until he thought those fighters were past their primes before fighting them.

    :lol::lol::lol:

    Jones only got stopped in his early 30's and after he came back down from HW ..Prior to that he was on a tear for 15 yrs soundly out boxing Hall of Famers Hill ,Johnson Hopkins and Toney !

    Meanwhile the guy you love to build up waited for Jones to get brutally KO ed several times before he had enough courage to get on a plane and come to the US ! Lets also not forget that he went 10 yrs with out facing an elite level fighter ! While Jones was being praised for his body of work in over 10 yr span your hero milked his career against B caliber fighters but you want to talk about who fought who :yepWhen Calzaghe finally stepped up his biggest named opponents they were long past their best ..But hey you want celebrate padded records go ahead ..We all know where who stands where all time !:hi:

    Eubank's jealousy seems to be at an all time high. Lol its true comedy. He seems awfully high on himself lol. GUess he cant take these guys talking about how great Jones is and how good the current crop of SMW's are.
