“Well, I’m not going to talk of me as it may seem self-effacing, so let me speak of your father,” he said on Breakfast.

“What GGG would do, he would come for a fight – he is not looking to run. So he would be walking into dynamite.

“I would pick Nigel to be the winner because GGG is great, but he is nowhere near the calibre of Gerald McClellan,” he added in a nod to the former middleweight champion who was forced to retire from boxing with a severe brain injury in 1995 after fighting Benn.

“So when you look at Canelo also, that’s a 50/50 fight because he has all the skills and the obedience in learning to perfect the art.

“He has all of that with him, he is brilliant.”

Obviously we haven’t seen GGG at supermiddle but I’d fancy him to beat both. I always call fights wrong though so make of that what you will ha.

Golovkin for me. It might be messy but his chin and engine would leave these two wondering what else they need to do.

Benn didn`t have as many KKO`s at 168 and Eubank`s KO ratio at 168 wasn`t that good either, he would have spent most of a fight v GGG moving and jabbing like he always did.

If GGG comes Mano a Mano against Benn then he will be turned into Lil G that’s for sure.

Never ever underestimate the Dark Destroyer in his prime mate - fought in a better era, fought anyone and could bang out anyone.

What cracking fights! Never underestimate Benn, however GGG has the better chin which makes me favour him.

Canelo v Eubank Snr would be a fascinating boxing match.

    There's a reason GGG hasn't gone to 168...
i'd favour Eubank at SM.,, Benn chin probably lets him down but my god the bombs would fly.
At middle he probably gets a decision over Eubank and stops Benn in war based on having a better chin than Benn and being a better pure boxer if that makes sense. GGG is rarely out of position or off balance.

There is levels to this game.

GGG is elite p4p the best MW of his generation by a long way and completely elite in his prime.

Eubank and Benn were good champions/belt holders but nowhere near being elite p4p and the best of their generation.

At either MW or SMW it’s clear GGG wins. I think GGG gets a stoppage over both at MW.

Problem with GGG is his list of wins is solid but, robbed on the cards V Alvarez and he doesn't have a stand out win...bit like Wlad in that respect.

Who would GGG best win be over if we go with the official verdict that he has a loss and draw with Alvarez? Jacobs?
The eye test isn't always reliable I guess. Martin Murray took him 11 rounds, Eubank was tougher had a better chin and more quality offensively and some sneaky power as well.

Benn would comfortable be the hardest puncher GGG had been in with could make things interesting despite GGG granite chin.
    I defo don't think it's clear cut.
