Sunday, June 17, 2012 By Keith Lambert Chris Eubank Sr, perhaps the toughest fighter of the 1980s and 90s, has questioned Floyd Money Mayweather Jrs toughness after hearing his complaints of below-par living conditions in serving his jail-time for breaking the This content is protected . I slept on a bit of foam on the floor when I lived in South Bronx for five years and ate rotten bananas for dinner. I was sleeping rough on the streets of London at 14 (years old). Look to Mr (Nelson) Mandela, he endured 28 years of it and still was willing to endure more. It makes you question if Floyd Jr can claim greatness once he is finally taken to the trenches in a This content is protected ring or made to endure a professional loss. Another fighter big Chris has been disappointed with in recent times is fellow British super-middleweight Carl Froch. Of Frochs arrogant boasting, he says: Carl is only tarnishing his own legacy by trying to write his own history, which is a real shame. He does the work in the ring as well as the road and This content is protected and achieves, and then he drags most of it down again by writing his own history. Its heartbreaking. Im content with my own ring work and how I will be looked upon 100 years from now. Carl obviously isnt content with his ring work or he wouldnt feel the need to attempt writing his history. And what of Eubanks recent hinting of a dramatic ring return himself, isnt that contradicting the above statement? No, he says. Because Im not claiming I will be world This content is protected again. Im interested in making history, however, and no successful fighter in history has come back to the squared circle following a significant layoff on the intention to show their offsprings precisely how to prepare and execute. If I can maintain my This content is protected and maintain my respect, while increasing my wealth and increasing success of my sons; then why on Earth wouldnt I return to the ring? Nobody has done it before and I will.
He doesn't know what its like to have it all and have it taken away. It's different when that's what you are used to. Floyd is a pretty boy, duh!!!
I was a fan of Eubank, but his routine defences were some of the worst snoozefests in history. Can't say that about Froch.
Obviously Eubank is naive if he thinks Floyd meant what he said in the complains. The guy was just trying to use legal loopholes to get out of jail.
Eubank is a funny man, I think he misses the limelight. I think he is right about Floyd, the guy has amazing talent, but no ****er on here can even begin to persuade me that the guy is a warrior. Floyd is a Prima Donna. As far as Carl is concerned, as someone mentioned earlier has had the far better defences of his title than Eubank did. I don't like people blowing smoke up there own ass, however this is boxing, a pre requisite of success in sport is confidence, so we cannot be to critical of this.
whether you're a ***** outside the ring or a hardman is irrelavent inside the ring floyd is arguably the best there is 2day whether you've slept on foam or silk sheets aint got **** to do with boxing I respect Eubank but he needs to stop vying for attention and stay out of this one. He also needs to dead all that crazy comeback talk before someone like Carl Froch absolutely annihilates him and puts him in the back of an ambulance!!
