'What happened happened. Gym work and sparring wars you don't go bragging about because there's no evidence. But if asked, I will tell truth as I see.

'I saw my son embarrass Mr DeGale from start to finish, and I experienced Mr DeGale being massively disrespectful to a former participant of the art form in myself, one who not only embodied the warrior code but opened the floodgates for the Naseems, Floyd's, Hattons and Mr DeGale's to come through.

'They say in the streets 'Karma is a *****' and disrespecting your elders is fundamentally flawed. So we shall see.'

'Sparring is sparring, you're right but it also is a fight and there is a phenomenon called male ego.

'I sparred with McCallum in Gleasons Gym before he fought Don Curry. I sparred with Herol Graham in Sheffield before he fought McCallum. I haven't come out and said in 30 years what occurred, unless asked.'

'McCallum got to grips with me after five rounds and beat me up with body shots after I outboxed him. And Graham got up and outboxed and beat me up after I knocked him out in the first minute of the first round.

'They had already got my measure in the gym so I wasn't overly keen to face them in a pro ring. I liked the opponent needing five rounds to figure me out because by then it was too late.

'The dynamic with Junior and Mr DeGale is that Junior already knows he can master that style and the same can't be said vice versa.'

Is this the same Eubank sr talking about respect when back in 1991 he was alleging live on telly Watson had used PEDS minutes after their second fight ?

Didn't he say the same thing about Groves?

I'm definitely putting a large wager on Degale then

I'm sorry?? You claimed Eubank claimed he was on drugs. He simply didn't. He said he wanted his urine tested, which was obviously just a compliment because when asked if he meant drugs Eubank said 'No!' straight away quite clearly

The father reminds me so much to his son. Actually junior cannot deny that he's his father's son.

CEJ's not fit to lace Olympic gold medalist and 2 x world champion Chunky Degale's spit bucket and even this geriatric shell of Chunky's injury-ravaged shot ghost isn't and never was getting bashed up in sparring by welterweights or light-middles

And Al Siesta isn't a BS artist either.

Welterweight David Avanesyan dominated Chris Eubank Jnr in sparring according to Russian’s manager

CHRIS EUBANK JNR has apparently held his own against the likes of Carl Froch, George Groves and James DeGale in sparring. But after a story came out that referenced Eubank getting the better of a ‘Russian’ in Southampton, boxing manager Al Siesta got in touch with Boxing News.

Siesta believes the Russian in question is his fighter, WBC No.7 welterweight David Avanesyan, 18-1-1 (9). According to Siesta, Eubank Jnr visited Southampton in July with his trainer Ronnie Davies and his father Chris Eubank, to spar Avanesyan.

“I looked at Chris and he was, I reckon, 74 or 75 kilograms,” Siesta recalls. “He looked like a super-middleweight, and was significantly taller. I asked Ronnie, ‘How many rounds do you want to do?’ He said, ‘Lets do six rounds’.

“It was significant domination [from David]. It was like if you put an ordinary fighter with a skilled fighter. His father [Eubank Snr] turned up. The sparring finished and it was very one-sided.

“Ronnie asked us to keep it quiet and asked to spar again. It was, I think, the Tuesday and he said he was going to come back on the Friday. I asked David and he said, ‘He’s a lot heavier than me but if he wants to spar again, no problem.’

“Chris Snr took Chris outside and he started bollocking him, properly. He was saying something like, ‘Yeah that’s what I told you because you don’t take it seriously.’ There was something about girls, something about this and that. He had a right go at him. He [Eubank Snr] was pleasant but he was a bit upset. It didn’t go according to plan.”

Siesta claims Eubank Jnr returned a few days later. The sparring, though not as one-sided, was again bossed by the 26-year-old Russian.

“They came on Friday,” Siesta continued. “David was told to take it easy. They started to spar and Chris pushed him and they fell to the ropes. David fell to the ropes and then it became a proper bullying again. Afterwards he [Eubank] didn’t say goodbye, he just packed his clothes. Ronnie was really nice. He said thank you very much and said we’d got an incredible kid, that he was a world champion in the making. But Chris just left and David said he was really rude and arrogant.”

Siesta – who only decided to get in touch when he saw the comments from Eubank Snr – is picking Billy Joe Saunders to beat Eubank Jnr tonight.

“Do I believe Saunders will beat Eubank? Absolutely. Don’t get me wrong. It’s a brilliant publicity machine, they have secured a great fight, but he’s an ordinary fighter.”

An England rugby player dropped DeGale to the body in sparring, it really doesn't mean much.

He said "no" in reference to the blood test the interviewer was asking him to confirm: he changed his tune to "No, i want his urine tested, because no one is that strong".

Jim Watt then made it clear Eubank had alleged "a stupid thing" in reference to Watson using Peds.

It's on tape: try clearing both your ears and brains (if you have any, that is)
