Watt doesn't know what Eubank was implying.

Had Watson been on bananas, Eubank would've wanted to know. It was a compliment to a guy who had improved tenfold in three months, seemingly impossible. At the end of a fast paced heavy hitting war for 11 and a bit rounds may I add, with all sorts of adrenalin and emotions....

Boxers say all sorts of things after a fight while in pain, exhausted and with adrenaline still pumping through their veins and with a mic stuck under their nose obligated to make a comment, live and unedited. Often they say things they don't really mean. Has he repeated a similar statement since?

    Ridiculous.

Plenty of boxers went through life and death fights and had nothing but praise for their adversary.

Chris instead has always been about demeaning his foes so he can elevate himself. His 2 press conferences vs Watson were cringe-worthy. Watson put him into his place in front of reporters so bad that Chris chose to storm away from the press conference , furious of having been exposed for the pompous brat he's always been.

And sadly remained throughout his career.

Yeah, I couldn't find any link to show he expressed this opinion again either...

My theory is Junior was a better boxer before he turned pro fresh off working with McCallum and the Mayweathers (before picking up bad habits), and that allowed him to outbox James
