GGG would beat Eubank with just his jab. Eubank's come-forward style is suicide against GGG's firepower.
I agree, I never said Eubank will beat him. Styles makes fights. GGG, has an excellent jab, and I d pick him to beat GGG, the Kassim Ouma fight showed the blue print, To beat GGG you dont try and out box him. You roll up ya sleeves and fight him, and not at mid or long range, like a sniper, but up close, Lots of volume, smother his work, fight like Chavez Jr, true Mexican style, GGG need leverage and space for his power. Eubank Jr fights up close in the pocket, GGG is a sucker for an uppercut, and Eubank Jr loves giving em. Ward and Eubank Jr fight in that up close smothering style, lots of volume, no moving back. Canelo stylistically is a problem for GGG too, due to the fact he soaks pressure. But his weakness is that he fights in spurts, his volume is too low, and his power is OK. Eubank Jr does not have any of them faults.... However I still believe the fight will give him trouble. But I believe based on his amateur tutelage, GGG has another gear. He will stop all that oppose, even in styles that he struggles against
LOL. Senior is doing a Able Sanchez imitation, and why not. It worked for Golovkin so it should work for b-level Junior as well.
Exactly how I see it. You have to take it to the trenches with GGG and smother him, try to outwork him and take his leverage away. Not saying it's easy by any means, but playing his boxing game at midrange is juggling with grenades.
Being up close robs him of his space and his leverage, reducing his power. But yeah, I don't see CEJ hurting GGG either.
If that fight happens, the people in the first ten rows would be advised to bring umbrellas to the arena for when the Beast shatters Junior's Hove chin into a billion sharp shards.
Beterbiev is straight up and down, no special effects, you will be crying when you see how easy CEJ destroys him
Sr was not even around to raise or contribute to his sons upbringing. Now he is father of the year ruining his son's pro career through horrific demands and hyperbole that would make P.T. Barnum blush.
GGG doesn't know how to fight on the inside, he's a mid range guy. Willy Monroe, Brook, Ouma all these little guys with no pop were hammering his noggin for fun, if they were as big and hit as hard and as vicious as CEJ then GGG was in serious trouble. If Brooks uppercut gave GGG something to think about, CEJ's will give him something to SLEEP ON!!!!!
So, to summarise: Chris Eubank Sr reckons Junior could beat Golovkin at 160, DeGale, Jack, Zurdo and Groves at 168, and Ward, Kovalev, Beterbiev, Gvozdyk and Bivol at 175. Both keep calling those guys out ... and yet, next weekend, Chris Eubank Jr is fighing a Commonwealth-level guy whose best win is over a shot Daniel Geale. Since Junior is now up at 168 having ducked Golovkin at 160, him and his dad will probably get brave and call out Degale, Jack and Ramirez ... only to end up fighting a Luke Blackledge or a Paul Smith. That's the patten Eubank Jr's career of late seems to be following.
You are ****ing mental with that same rhetoric. "How easy CEJ destroys" Beterbiev. LOOOL "Straight up and down no special effects" They actually allow you to walk around in public unsupervised?
