    Like Wilder, Eubank never fought the best in his prime, he fought a green Calzaghe and lost clearly, that was the only great fighter he ever fought albeit past prime

    Calzaghe wasn't great, he was a British champion and had fought nobody. Eubank stepped in on a weeks notice when Collins pulled out, and hadn't looked near his best since he came back from retirement in that Middle East venture.

    Your post doesn't make sense based on what you quoted. Had anyone fought Nunn in 91 or Jones in 93 and it went 12 rounds they'd of lost. Anyone

    Benn weren't great, very good fighter, big heart and dig but he aint great. Like Eubank, he would've come a cropper against America's best at the time. If McClellan hadn't gone in to that fight damaged, Benn would've been ****ed, GM wasn't fit to be in a ring with his underlying brain damage

    Neither did freddie Roach, but he did alright with Manny! ;) Just messin' on a serious note, I still lean on Breland's responses about Deontay. Each time he talks-it tells me -nothing more can be done. Wilder is who he is. An awkward guy who can box just well enough...

    But to Eubank's credit...take away RJJ speed...I agree he'd have a great chance. All those examples are on point from Nas-MAB on. Same with Wilder...the equalizer/erase/bomb is what got Wilder here...he IMO is the best definition of an over-achiever. Nothing wrong with that.
