On the eve of his 50th birthday bash in Las Vegas, the European boxing legend gives us his take on various manners of affairs.

Will your son ever fight GGG?

Unity Motion can make the fight in Vegas in affiliation with Mayweather Promotions if Golovkin is willing.

    What next for Eubank Jr?

You will learn more in due course.

Thoughts on Frank ****** calling you a 'phoney'?

Boxing promoters who have never boxed in their life are the phoniest individuals on Earth.

How would the 25 year old Eubank Sr have fared against Golovkin?

I'd of taken the initiative and beat him up. He's very hittable.

Would you of beaten a middleweight Michael Nunn?

Only two men in history would've; Toney and Nigel Benn. Toney is the greatest middleweight ever, and Benn was one of the five greatest pound-for-pound punchers ever. Toney came from behind to beat Nunn, got off the canvas in the first round to beat a Nunn-Roy Jones cross-clone in Reginald Johnson, and went toe-to-toe for 12 rounds twice with the ultra-great and ultra-gifted McCallum; coming back from a draw to win. And he was younger than Tyson.

Nunn was that good though. He was this long-limbed lefty, Galaxy smooth with speed, movement and combinations. He was one of the five best boxers of the modern era.

Who would you name the other best boxers?

Nunn, James Toney, Roy Jones, Floyd Jr and Sweet Pea.

    Could your son beat Golovkin?

Speed kills. Look at Roy Jones against James Toney and Joe Calzaghe against myself. Or Meldrick Taylor against Chavez. Calzaghe against me is the best example because Joe threw 80 punches a round and so does my son.

How can Golovkin, who is a come-forward fighter, an exceptionally skilled come-forward fighter - but a come-forward fighter at that - who is not a defensively astute counter-puncher, possibly deal with 80 lightning strikes a round? He can't. It's just simple math.

Who are your favourite fighters today and of all time?

If he wasn't my son, I would say Junior. Of all times, Joe Walcott and Jack Johnson.

That "math" he speaks off becomes void when his son gets hit and can't do 80 punches a round. He's just promoting the fight with his warrior talk.

The thing that kinda upsets me a bit is the TMT angle in this... IF Floyd is involved in the promotion I don't see a GGG fight happening anytime soon.

Golovkin better start packing for 168lbs

Chris Eubank Jr. for the next 3 years will be promoted as the fighter who always almost fights Gennady Golovkin.

Edit: Which is better than a domestic level can.

Toney was far better skilled but killed himself making the weight.
