    He is a wise man, but it appears as though his ego went into overdrive a few months ago, which cost Jnr a great fight.

    A man not often mentioned around the Nunn and McCallum era is Sumbu Kalambay. Probably remembered more for the 1st round KO loss to Nunn but had some very good results over the years and was in some very good fights.

    Kalambay took Herol Graham's unbeaten record by UD in the UK, a result which shouldn't be underestimated. Beat Graham again by UD 5 years later.

    Beat a 22-3 Iran Barkley to win the vacant WBA Middleweight title.

    Beat McCullam by UD and also lost to McCullam by SD.

    Beat Steve Collins by UD.

    Won European Titles and the WBA World Title and was normally a handful for anybody.

    Kalambay was unbelievable! His wins over all-time talent Graham and McCallum are two of the most impressive Ever in Any weight - he schooled them! Made DeWitt and Sims look like club fighters.
