Just saw this on boxing scene. If true, is a bit much in my opinion, I thought they are were good friends.

Who cares? English took beatings in the ring, bled, suffered and out his life on the line to make the Hearns money. If he wanted a £250 chauffeur from these millionaires who gives a toss?

i agree with this if it was solely this, but wasn't Hearn best man at Eubanks wedding or vice versa. if my best man wanted to be paid to come to my 60th party, i would be less than impressed

Yeah I think it leaves real question marks over his character personally, and could actually see in Fast Eddies face that it was a bone of contention more so than GGG fight etc

The story is from Eddie Hearn's latest interview on IFLTV. Barry Hearn was Eubank's best man, and Eubank asked first for an appearance fee to appear at his birthday, then later settled for a £250 driver.

Eubank must be pretty bitter towards them. Or he might be genuinely skint and takes every opportunity he can

I met Riddick Bowe before and he wanted a tenner for a Signiture. Some of these boxers make good money but they are not always wise with it and end up destitute

I was a fan of Sr in his fighting days, went to many of his fights but nobody can defend him if it's true.

What sort of wrong'un asks for an appearance fee for turning up at a 60th birthday party of somebody who was best man at your wedding and made you millions.

Anyway, I found the opinions about Sr calling his son a "product" and Sr telling everybody "I'm back" after Jr made a deal with ITV the most interesting but truly disturbing.

It doesn't surprise me one bit. I can't remember him while he was still boxing so I can't judge from then. The fights I've seen he's a very tough man but from what I've seen down the years and now on many interviews and boxing shows through Jr he's a top pri.ck and what makes him even worse he seems to be ruining his sons career.

Ha ha. No just don't like ***** behaviour. If they are mates then he's being a ***** to his mate whether his mate is Barry Hearn or on the dole.

I have no respect for a man who turns his back on his own son like he has. That's his biggest crime in my eyes. Asking for an appearance fee for a mate's birthday party is nowt in comparison.

I think Eddie should have more gratitude . Eubank has spilled actual blood to silver the spoon up his rectum.

You could say that about any post on here. I'm not a big fan of the Hearns but I think it speaks volumes when u want an appearance fee to show up at ur best man's birthday party
