I can't see anything other than a Eubank win in a good fight. Although, Benn did wobble Eubank on a few occasions. I wouldn't mind it if these guys did a trilogy regardless of the outcome, like the British Gatti vs Ward trilogy. No belts just glory.
Eubank would be foolish to concede weight again. He is clearly the better fighter but you can only put your body through that torture so many times and at his age it's a recipe for disaster.
I really love the rivalry and their fight but the rematch is quite pointless. Anyway, should play out similar to the first.
What weight is this at? If this is at 160 again with a rehydration cause, he could get hurt and stopped this time. Like @MidniteProwler said, you can't put your body through that too many times.
Like I said in first fight. If all else is equal the Big man will beat the smaller man. there will be no difference in a rematch.
I don’t see how it ends differently. But it was such a fun fight and they both got $$$ for it, obvious a rematch was going to to happen.
So long as Eubank prepares as good or better next time in terms of the cut, then Benn is getting beaten up again. This is Benn cashed out though, after two successive losses like this not sure what there is out there for him.
It could end differently if Eubank has a really bad weight cut or really bad preparation caused by random factors beyond his control.
He’s a grown man, it does fee like a crap deal as he could legit get permanently hurt if he can’t comfortably make that weight, but I’m sure he’s weighing that against the money on the table
Didn't they each get $10mil for the first? I assume this is at least as much -- probably more, given how good the first fight was. Even after the cut to promoters, trainers, the taxman, etc, the two fights are still enough for both of them to retire comfortable immediately if they wanted to. I don't blame him. Grab the bag when you can. Don't be Wilder and turn down generational money because reasons.
