I like Eubank and dislike DeGale, so easy to choice who i am supporting.

And the fact DeGale already making excuses is just embarrassing. If he loses, it's because he is 'over the hill'. Come on, save it.

Anyone listen to Junior’s coach at the presser? All he had to say was that Truax is from an area of America where they are renowned for being turd. He sounds clueless. Not surprised Senior was suggesting other trainers. Eubank is getting dealt with tomorrow lads. I’m going by about 8-4 in rounds.

And if Eubank loses are you going to suggest yet another training change when past history has shown that he is lacking all fundamentals and is essentially resistant to being trained for a variety of factors. Remember what happened with him and Booth? The one thing Hearn and Warren seem to agree on is the Eubanks are almost impossible to work with. Think of how many trainers those two have access to.

Fact of the matter is that Jr is just in this game temporarily instead of being a DW Sports area manager. As Hagler said, sleeping in silk sheets or the upbringing equivalent of, is rarely conducive to a stellar pro boxing career. Naz's "empassioned" rant over the Groves fight wasn't far off the mark IMO.

If Eubank outworks DeGale to a points win or even stops him I will be the first to give credit. I'm not going to mouth off over DeGale being over the hill, as his fundamentals are demonstrably better and Jr deserves credit for coming back against a schooling from Groves.

    That was a hard listen.

He mumbled incoherently about mid west fighters for 30 seconds then said on the topic of George Groves that "DeGale also got beat by James Degale". Not the full ticket is Mr Vasquez. Neither is Mr Poxton :risas3:

Could that girl look any less impressed holding the IBO belt haha.

There was one moment where she looked up at it and then DeGale, did this a couple of times. Im wondering if she was contemplating dropping it on his head.

Yeah it was a bizarre contribution from Nate Vasquez. The guy almost seems dazed in every interview I've seen, and could give Joe Joyce a run for his money in the charisma stakes.

De gale is a lot bigger than eubank. No one seems to be mentioning this and it is significant IMO.

Will we see any evidence that can has addressed any of the lackings he has shown all along? Has he developed a jab footwork, straight punching etc etc? Because if he only manages to overwhelm a shopworn degale with workrate fitness and energy, then what's the point? He'll still have no real future in boxing at top level.

I referenced that the other week bud. Gonna have the same size/weight disadvantage as he had against Groves. It’s great having this explosive athleticism but when you’re in the wrong division it’s negated.

Jr is a middleweight, no doubt. All this moving up to super has been a big mistake imo. At middle he had many advantages that are simply given up if he sits in a division where he's undersized, and spends his time at the end of longer jab.

Didn't see that post sorry 20. I think he should find it much easier to get to de gale than groves though. Groves was expert , really good , at keeping it long and jr was clueless as to how to cope with that. DeGale is much easier to engage than groves was. gale is still leagues ahead of jr technically.( Then again, who isn't!). Should be interesting.....
