Toney UD. Eubank's too tough to be stopped but would be outboxed. They did a lot of the same things I think, but Toney was better and more defined in what his style was (if that makes sense). Assuming they both turn up switched on of course, both were inconsistent.

    Eubanks UD.
Toney was easier to frustrate in his prime, Eubanks would frustrate him and beat him to the punch.

I'd lean towards Toney by UD, but I honestly could see it going either way. Would have been a great fight IMO.

Very, very difficult fight for Toney, who should be favoured. But very difficult. Eubank's "inches" policy does not favour Toney at all - but, Toney is still scoring better punchers, even though he is not making a dent =116-112

Toney UD although Eubank stands a better chance against Toney than against any elite 80s/90s middleweight due to his ability to move and fight off the back foot.

I would have to go with Eubank. I don't think he'd get disheartened, wheras I think he could throw Toney off his game by showing him he wasn't intimidated.

Very, VERY close though, a SD probably.

this would have been a very very good fight. eubanks chin was immense, i would go for a split decision either way.

The only problem for Eubank, was that it was very easy to get inside his head and make him lose his gameplan (outside of the ring) he had a very fragile mindset.... especially post Watson..... That's what Collins did to him..... and you can see how agitated he is in a couple of interviews on youtube....see for example when Ingle and Naz start on Eubank pre-Carl Thompson fight.... they were really harsh on him and it was not neccessary from Ingle - Eubanl tales ot really personally and it affected him and his preparation for that fight.. and you can also see Toney himself having a go at Benn and Eubank on Jonathan Ross show before their duel.... One of British boxings classic comedy moments IMO..... I'll try find the clip on youtube..... but basically Toney does his usual trash talking and Benn seems to reacts as you would expect from another fighter.... but Eubank, really shows how mentally vunerable he is....

If TOney and Eubank did fight..... all Toneys trash talking would really get to Eubank and affet him in the fight IMO... saying things about his momma etc in the ring....would just make Eubank lose it.....

However, if we took out this factor of mind games....Eubank wins a very close split decision...in a very tactical fight. Both had granite chins - so no KO either way.

this would be a boring fight imo but the pre fight hype and chat would have been hilarious. Would have loved to have seen the what people in america would have made of Eubank in his tweed and monocle!

The Eubank who fought Benn in their first fight, but I agree with Redondo, mentally, he could be wound up,but... I think only Collins was capable of doing it with his whole ''hypnotise'' theme, because Benn gave him a tongue lashing in their 1st fight, and it was very personal, both showed a never give up attitude that turned into a war.

Just like Benn though, he suffered from what happened to Watson, so a very tough call, everything would have to be perfect for him on the night.

got to agree it would have been great to see what america made of eubank, talk about eccentric lol

its fair to say that eubank was never the same after the 2nd watson fight. eubank totally lost his killer instinct after what happened to watson.
