I have said it before. They want that Lonsdale belt outright. Swerving Danny jacobs world title fight to fight for it. Then offering the belt to nick Blackwell. I believe their is no fight they will take before they win it outright. GGG fight has proved that.

I kind of disagree because I think Murray did pretty well against Groves and many people thought he beat Abraham (I didn't see the fight myself).

However moving down in weight will be a challenge, and could prove detrimental if its at 160, 168 would probably be fairer for both fighters.

I think that's fair enough, but they should admit to the public that's what they are after, it is just conning the fans otherwise.

I hope that is not what they intend to do.

He did fine against Groves and looked capable against Abraham (but lost, in my eyes) for sure; I'm not saying he's completely finished by any means just that he doesn't look quite as tough/sharp as he has done in the past. Could well be the added weight though

I'm still a bit unsure on the whole Eubank situation!

At the end of the day he has no right to be calling any shots at world titles, he sits on British title FFS and lost when he did fight for a title to BJS, fat BJS.

Anyway I can boxing see going the way of when I first remember watching cage fighting where there were clearly mismatches in size/weight but made for entertainment.

Boxing IMO is losing the sport reference and gaining in entertainment. That's what the Hearns do.

Eubank Jr is one of the best fighters we have at the moment. He'd destroy Langford, pity his dad and JR seem too hard to deal with for promoters.

I think Eubank senior wants.to get as much as possible so he can move forward with his own promotion company 'unity motion' promotions

Do the parties involved know the result on the day of the bid or do they too have to wait? If they do, that's a system open to all kinds of abuse.

I think they find out first. I've seen fighters and promoters say they have won the bid or got the fight b4 it's been put on the net.

Eubank Sr tweeted something along the lines of "big news soon" a few days ago so I'd imagine something has been sorted out prior to today.
