I reckon Murray could make that and Eubank is clearly struggling with making Middle himself. Eubank has come in at 164 many times throughout his career, I think this is a fight that would make sense. Although,Murray said he wanted some time off he also stated he had a lot more to give. I think it's a good fight and we can gauge where Jnr is at for ourselves.
Murray has more to give but only as a yardstick in the eyes of most promoters. And this will get him some decent paydays. His only route back in my opinion is to get in with jnr and cause the upset
It makes sense don't it. Then if Eubank gets the win, he can jump in with Triple G after he's boxed Brook.
Problem for a prospective fight with GGG would be Matchroom, Sky, Loeffler as they properly can't be ****d going through it all again for Snr to come out with silly demands at the 11th hour. It would have been like Groves after calling out Froch for ages giving him constant pelters them at the 11th hour sabotaging negotiations so they break down ! He would have looked like a right **** and that's how the Eubanks look.
Eubank jr has been far from quiet he did go off on one via twitter but has since deleted them basically saying GGG has gone for the easier fight Brook has no chance and Eddie took the easier option
Eubank needs to box someone with a pulse before he wins a world title, best Win is by far Nick Blackwell.
Eubank needs to get rid of his dad from his team and stop talking nonsense and focus on getting some fights and not publicity stunts that end up making him look like a complete div Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Problem is with promoting this fight. Eubanks have burnt so many bridges. CEJ will probably have to box on the undercard of Haye's next fight
very funny but you have to feel for Jr, Sr is burning every bridge in boxing and while Sr runs his career Jr will suffer. It's not Jr's fault, poster Robney made the point Jr has to be his own man and I agree but it must be difficult having a father like Sr and having him as a manager and all that goes with it. I just hope when (and I believe it will happen) Jr sooner or later leaves Sr the promoters and people involved in boxing don't hold him accountable for Sr's actions and words.
Where will he go now? Warden wont want him, nor will Hennesey. Al Haymon? Haye undercards? Steve Goodwin lol?
