If the Liam Williams of the first 6 rounds in smith 1 turns up then he beats Eubank imo.

If the Liam Williams of Smith 2 turns up he gets a pasting.

Eubank is the sturdier and has been in with big super middleweights.late stoppage I'll go.

Eubank will be outboxed early and down on the cards by the half way mark............. but I then expect him to start grinding Williams down and get a late stoppage.

That is based on us seeing the "true" Chris Eubank.... the rough and tough version that lets his hands go and likes a dog fight. If he starts standing off and trying to pot shot then it could go very wrong in this particularly fight, although that said I think he will revert to type anyway.

Looking forward to the main event, but....

Does anyone else think Julius Indongo is a mental price at 9/4??!? I'm not a massive gambler but like a flutter on the boxing from time to time and that seems more than tasty

Might well be that he is totally shot after 2 ko defeats but if he has even half his old ability surely he wins.

He's lost 4 out of his last 5 and all inside 4 rounds... I think he's completely done to be honest.

Slightly bold prediction of a Williams stoppage for me. This is if he makes Eubank work and not take the massive rests he likes. Eubank would absolutely hate that. I’m not talking going in swinging all the time, although the odd bit of head shoving wouldn’t hurt. I actually think he can do this at mid to long range by constantly keeping the pressure on both mentally and physically. He’s the better boxer so if he’s got then bottle he can defo get success this way. He’d have to be switched on all the time because Eubank can be dangerous. Williams looks fitter and fresher at middleweight and he’s punching hard too as we’ve seen against Heffron and Andrade.

I’ve got a feeling it could be Williams’ defining night which leads to good things. It should be a great fight because Eubank can’t just be happy to survive and take the money like he did against Groves. He knows if he loses to Williams, he’s got a long way back and people would see the truth.

Can’t wait for this. I don’t think I’ve seen a live fight since Smith Fowler!

15/2 still with Betfred and Mansion. Not much difference but if you’re one of them on here who do hefty stakes then it makes it worth while.

It’s a good fight. Williams has the better fundamentals and I think is the better boxer, and hits harder. I do think Eubank will wear him down in the later rounds providing he doesn’t try and box too much.

I do want Eubank to win personally, I think his ceiling is higher and want to see him in against one of the big boys.

Eubank via stoppage, Williams walked forward with no head movement in the Andrade fight, I doubt he’s made any changes since that one.

Going to stick with my original decision. Williams roared on by a home crowd, boxing to a strict game plan pulls it off. Not a confident pick. What a domestic clash though. Great fight.

We know that Eubanks has had problems with people who could keep it on the outside , Williams isn’t that type of boxer he will go to war and fight with Junior and I don’t see that as a great tactic . Junior is the bigger man who in the past has shown good chin and good engine , I think Williams will get stopped late.
