At 2.25 you notice Eubank drops his posh accent. What a fake ashamed of his background http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lt_glQIg_zE
So did you think everyone in his family wore jodphurs and moncles then? He came from a fighting family - of course the posh accent is something he chooses and not his "real" accent. He grew up in Dalston, Peckham and Hackney not Eton. Anyway - I didn't hear much of a change.
Mate, you don't think I got a rich French bird as a girlfriend by talking in my thick Yorkshire accent do you? Everyone adapts their accent depending on who they are talking to or working with. It doesn't mean they are selling out. Although, to be fair, Eubank is a ****.
If he was pretending to have a west-indian accent like loads of english black guys do would it be any less fake?
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/profile-the-monocled-mutineer-chris-eubank-1410300.html An article on Mr Eubank. I'm trying to imagine him speaking with an American accent, but as soon as I think of him, all I can hear is that "nose-in-the-air" pompous garbage he would come out with..
I thought his accent remained exactly the same, I think you mean he slipped up by saying Watson made him feel sick, nothing wrong with that, its not cricket. With that said... I thought Eubank acted like a complete wanker towards Watson, it just shows that there is hardly any justice in boxing, Watson deserved that victory & had it won in fight 2 before tragedy struck. Watson won fight 1 anyway, I dont listen to judges, the man was world champion IMO when he beat Eubank. Belts & records dont mean nothing, fans opinion is gospel in boxing. THE END !
