I doubt it but you never know. Premier Sports sometimes changes its package terms around big one-off football games like cup finals or qualifiers, it’s easy to get sucked in and end up with a six month sub without really meaning to.

Let’s be honest the fight is interesting but does not make sense for either fighter

Eddie needs to deliver a PPV for DAZN and when AJ fight ended up on sky this was his only option, I don’t blame him for doing it but save me all the bull

he has hardly any ppv stars now and this is a makeshift plan because He didn’t get the AJ fight

What I noticed is that Eddie Hearn stated that KSI + Eubank Jr vs Benn would give DAZN UK a million new customers.

There is not a chance whoever said that was telling the truth. If by some miracle it is, SERIOUS questions need to be asked of his team

    No chance mate

Benn isn't a huge welter for starters and all the noise coming out from his end are that after this fight he'll definitely be returning to 147.

As for Eubank, he is going to struggle getting down to 157 and it will take something away from him. He looked tight at 160 vs Williams in his last fight so to take off an additional 3 pounds is going to be hard work... draining yourself by those few pounds when your already at the very limit will affect performance. No question about it.

It’s not being allowed to fully rehydrate, only partially, even more so than getting to 157 that may be his downfall here. He’ll be weak, his muscles low on glycogen so dehydrated after about six rounds at pace (much like his old man vs Watson at Earls Court; same day weigh in days before the ruling changed around the world after the Watson tragedy later that yr)

Ed says this could be Con’s ‘Gerald McClellan fight’. No disrespect to Jr, but he’s hardly Gerald McClellan (think what Julian Jackson would’ve done to him!).

It wouldn't surprise me if Eubank weighs in at 157 but then ignores the rehydration clause and takes the £100k hit (or whatever it is).

At the end of the day - a £100k loss is well worth the hit in order to be able to perform much better on the night and help prevent any risk to future pay days that a loss / poor performance may do. Plus the fact he's earning millions as it is.

It's not like Benn and Hearn are going to pull out on the morning of the fight either is it - given the magnitude of it.

I think it’s more like 150k per pound. So could be a couple of mill.

The 5lbs rehydration is a joke and extremely dangerous for a guy who is tight at 160, he will only be able to be 2lbs above that 10 hours before the fight! He won't be able to eat or barley drink anything in that 24 hour period from weigh in to weigh in having already starved and dehydrated himself.

The rehydration clause sounds like it's designed to make Jnr end up like McClellan.

Many feel it’s young Benn who could end up like Gerald after this one.
