All in primes SMW or middle

    Eubank vs

    Roy

    McClellan

    Toney

    Hopkins

I think... Roy UD (close but clear)

GMan - Eubank win by KO

    Toney - :think

Hopkins - :think (My initial thought was Hopkins disputable UD or SD, hopkins dominating early, till late rounds when eubank starts getting in shots. could see this being a hard fought if ugly and ill - tempered bout, hopkins butting, eubank retaliating with low blows, both losing a point but both fighters gaining huge respect for each other at final bell).

    Thoughts from the Classic Forum?

Toney would have embarassed him, Eubank wasn't particularly hard to countershot.

I think he only has the beating of McClellan - and I am a big Eubank fan!

The rest would be varying points losses.

:nono Eubank was a counterpuncher himself, and had speed from range, I don't see Toney having it anywhere near easy, nobody had easy against Eubank.

This fight is the main one I aint sure about, i'm inclined to lean towards Toney though.

Yeah you're probably right. I don't see Bernard enjoying this bout very much though.

He has a good chance vs McClellan but Id favour the rest to beat him.

He is not as defensively good though...Toney focused and on form would pick him apart.

Its unlikely he embarrasses him...but he certainly wins it.

I think Eubank-McCllelan would have been damn near a pick em.

But Eubank loses to Jones, Toney, and Hopkins without ANY doubt.

Adding to that list.. Eubank also would have lost to McCallum, and Nunn.

Eubanks used to be my fave growing up but he'd be picked apart by Hops and Toney, outboxed and outsped by Jones and have a war with GMAN he may or may not win

    Its Eubank Im afraid.

Ps. I despised the guy in his prime but have a great deal of respect for him as a fighter & warrior now.

Thanks for the info, I might get that in a quiz one day.... but his boxing name is Eubank, I didnt know him when he was at school.

Why not call Willie Pep, Guglielmo Papaleo... Ray Robinson, Walker Smith... or Joe Louis, Joseph Louis Barrow ?

    :good

Eubank loses to them ALL, the only one he has a chance with is McClellan, and I think McClellan might have too much in terms of technical ability and workrate for him.
