He was getting outclassed by an American postal worker. I gave him rounds 4, 9, 10 and that was it. A blatant robbery! Thornton landed most of the power punches over Eubank. Not to mention Eubank ran half of the fight. One of the best British fighters and should have been on the wrong end of a decision against an American civil servant. The announcers were worse than Jim Lampley on his worst day.

Don't know if I've seen this fight but one video is hardly representative of a man's ability or career. You could take one underwhelming fight of any boxer and call them a bum.

i do mean pain tolerance, but endurance sounded better with the wife connotation.

if the wife was that uglee, then pain tolerance might be the better word.

I thought Eubank sweeped the first four and last four, although admittedly he did turn his back and run a few times towards the end!

Thornton was a quality fighter, no question. His performance against hugely dangerous/awkward Sosa was very skilful. He also gave a peak Toney a competitive, close fight.

Tony was clearly robbed against Collins. He drew more blood from Steve than Robinson did from LaMotta V.

Assess a whole career off one fight, good thinking.
Eubank was in some stinkers but try watching Benn 1 or Rocchiaganni instead for a true measure of his abilities.
You could pick any boxer and find a **** performance, doesnt mean they were all **** does it.
