As any reasonable person would have told you before the fight... Eubanks only chance was to get to Groves in the mid-late rounds and he didn't. The better man won full stop.

This. Eubanks will always get exposed against other top fighters. At the top level his stamina is top notch, but his skill level and power aren't that great. He most likely needs a new trainer if he's going to grow as a fighter, since he clearly doesn't have his father's power to fall back on.

No what happened last night was that a hype job who is an unsophisticated brawler was exposed.

No plan B, and absolutely no idea of what to do in the ring against the most obvious tactic his opponent was going to deploy.

So the question remains, what the hell was Eubank working on in camp? Was he just hitting the bags and staring at his 12 pack in the mirror?

The camp is meant to involve sparring and working on tactics that will be used in fight night. In this case, how do you close the distance against a skilled boxer who will look to hit you with straight shots coming in and then hold. How do you close the distance against a moving target who wants to keep the fight at long distance.

So Eubank either didnt do any preparation for his opponents tactics and skillset, or he did prepare but he is not good enough to deploy it on fight night.

He suffers from an all too common disorder known as ICFS or I Can't Fight Syndrome.

    he was indeed himself

that was exactly 100% Chris Eubank Jr

that is who he is; that is what he can do and those are his limits

He was exactley as he always is he was just taken to school by a better fighter simple as that just like he was in the first half of his fight wight with BJS, the only difference is Saunders poor fitness and Gas tank allowed Jnr back in the fight.

Great point and let’s have it right since his loss to BJS they’ve been Uber careful who they fought and as such never learnt.

he sucks, only reason he got mentioned a lot is that he was born in uk and the brits will hype you whether you can fight or not.

I don't see why everyone thinks Eubank Jr needs a new trainer, why would you want a smart tactician giving you instructions and adjustments between rounds when you could have your own dad dispensing his wisdom. "Cwistopher, you must harness the spirit of the warrior and embody tenacity and aggression of the squirrel"

naa brewster outthought wlad thru superior skill.
