Yeah well that is just a probability isn't it. In the ring it doesn't make GGG grow a few inches and hit harder. CEJ is paying decent value. I think @ 3 to 1 it's value at 5.5 to 1 it's great value. Worth a punt for sure.
Braver than Geale? Lolololololol wtf is that supposed to mean lencoreastside are you feeling well mate? CEJ is better than all of those blokes, but more importantly he matches up with GGG much better as well.
He has a medium level of power imo. Not bad, not great. He's not knocking guys out cold etc because of his style. He's not timing the shots and landing flush. His chin is unproven. It might be great, it might be average. Golovkin will stop him regardless.
Don't be cheeky James....it doesn't suit you. Read what I typed....I meant braver than rosado and faster than geale . It's obvious what I meant. Anyway geale is easily brave enough to be admired for his courage alone, isn't he? Are you questioning grands guts? Junior may appear to be in the fight, particularly in the first 4-6 rounds, but it nice ggg starts to time him and zero to n with his laser guided bombs, the fight will cease to be competitive, just as every ggg fight inevitably does. Undoubtedly CEJ has some qualities that ggg may lack, but they are peripheral areas of boxing. In all core areas of boxing, the areas that win fights, it's advantage ggg!
I worry about that uppercut. It's good, but it won't be worth chucking it and missing against Golovkin and winding up with chin in the air asking for a hook to end proceedings.
Eubank looked like a rank amateur for 6 rounds against Saunders. Was totally clueless, and comprehensively out boxed. The only reason he had any success in the fight is due to Saunders poor conditioning. The gulf in class, technique, boxing IQ and power, between GGG and Eubank is as wide as the Atlantic Ocean. GGG vs Eubank is a huge mismatch. GGG will walk an aggressive Eubank onto something big within 5 rounds.
Exactly...he sees it as his signature shot and throws it too often and inappropriately at times and leaves himself open. That's fine against Doran and Blackwell but it's night night vs GGG.
Anyone that thinks Eubank genuinely has a chance if beating gennady needs to start following a new sport.
People seem to think he is the only guy capable of throwing it too. GGG landed a beautiful uppercut from the outside against Rosado that shook him up big time, although he actually did so whilst keeping his balance
Honestly fancy eubank in this fight big underdog and big ask because golvokin does a lot of things tremendously well. Eubank will need to bite down on the gumshield and take a shellacking. But golvokin is 32/33 now. When i watch him theres one or two times he looks a bit distressed with the punches. Get a feeling hes gonna unfold quickly when someone puts it on him. The legend of golvokin has overtaking his ability. Eubanks technically not the best. But hes younger powerful throws a lot of punches and most importantly believes in himself.
As was and did Lemieux, who has already proven to be at world level. Look how one-sided that was. And as the topic is debating, he isn't that powerful either. "Putting it on him" isn't as simple as that; his jab is so hard to get past because timing>speed. He'll just sit and counter you with it until he feels like stepping in more himself. People have had success against GGG when he has elected to trade with them. Monroe Jr had some success doing this, but the problem is that he has a fantastic has a fantastic chin and obviously tremendous power, so someone is always going to fold and it won't be him.
Good reply paddy hard to argue with that. Just got a feeling eubanks has the style to cause golvokin problems tho. The only way your gonna beat him is dragging him into a fight. I think eubank has the tools to do it. Golvokin can be hit. I think the eubanks have the right game plan. Fight him. Up till now most have tried to box him on the backfoot with pretty limited success. Really think the way to beat him is to not take a step back. Push him back. Much like how hatton beat tyszu.
Macklin had a go at that to be fair to him. I just think he's far too good a boxer. People obsess over his power far too much. He's an aggressive counter-puncher and it'll take someone with size, chin, at least good power and a monster inside game. I don't think Jr is that man.
