23 year-old 'Sugar' Ray Seales had a World Middleweight Title shot riding on this bout,
with Rodrigo Valdez for later in 1975.

Cyclone Hart got off fast, and rocked Ray Seales early in this bout. The 5' 11 1/2" Cyclone
stayed right in front of the 6' 1" southpaw, and would not be denied. He walked right
through Ray Seales harmless punches.

'Cyclone' shook Ray Seales big-time in Round 4, and had him on rocky footing. Cyclone Hart
maintained the pressure, then cruised to a relatively 'easy' 10-Round Decision.

Referee Paul Venti had it (7-2-1 in Rounds).

Hard to imagine, Cyclone Hart was only 24 years-old. At 28-5-0 (26 KO's), the Cyclone seemed be around much longer.

As for 'Bad Bennie', at age 32 1/2 and with a record of 52-14-2 (47 KO's), he was showing signs of slipping, and
the 'wild bomber' Cyclone believed he could not only take Bennie, but put him down.
