Does any one know why ES dont seem to show any boxing any more ? Hasn't been any on for ages. Any ideas?
Last time i watched a fight on Eurosport was when Klitcshko smashed Pulev to pieces...was that the last big fight they showed or has there been other big fights since
Money? Eurosport seems to show largely minor sports over here in the UK....or matches from major sports but in minor leagues. E.g. They will show football from russia/turkey but not the UK or Spain.
i first got it in 1989 it was called screensport then used to show loads of uk boxing every week / the whole bills as well / a few dutch fighters and french bills / i remembver chris eubank being a staple on there. now i only watch eurosport for the athletics which tim hutchings commentates and is brilliant at. bbc athletics is absolute gargabe in comparison. sadly bbc boxing is about as relevant as eurosport now/ not sure why they dont pick up the spanish / dutch/ belgium fights rai tv i watch whats left of the once very strong italian boxing german boxing is on free to air german tv. surprised to learn eurosport has won the bidding for the next olympics / not sure how that is ? i thought it was only to be on terretrial tv and eurosport is subscription package only.
Yeah i remember the 80,s on eurosport ( lots of boxing matches ) they always played the song "satisfied" from Richard markxx
