Let´s assume Pavlik moves up in weight like AA.

Team Europe consists of Kessler, Froch and AA.
Team USA consists of Taylor, Ward and Pavlik.

    The fights are:

    AA vs. Taylor
    Froch vs. Ward
    Kessler vs. Pavlik

Which Team can secure more wins?

AA vs. Taylor is a tough one to call.Could be a huge Knockout win for AA or a decision for Taylor. As a European i think AA will knock Taylor out eventually in the later rounds due to Taylor´s stamina problems.

I think Froch´s power and toughness are too much for Ward.He will knock him out in the middle rounds.

Kessler vs. Pavlik will be closer than most people think imo.Ultimately i have Kessler via UD but i really think both fighters will have their moments in that one.

My result would be Europe 3 - USA 0

I might suffer from blind homerism tough cause i´am a European.

    What´s your take?

I think people are more interested to see AA vs Pavlik, Froch has already beaten Taylor so it will be Froch vs Ward and Kessler vs Taylor. I think in my match-ups Pavlik would edge out AA, Ward would possibly outbox Froch, and Kessler beats up Taylor in the late rounds possible stoppage.

50/50, I find it a hard pick. Taylor could easily end up winning a decision. His stamina is poor...AA work-rate is just so little I don't know if he'll empty the tank quick enough.

It's somewhat of a leap of faith since he's only fought Miranda but I think Ward can beat Froch. He has the skills and athleticism to do so, he proved he could take some kind of punch and that he has 12 round stamina.

I think Kessler would beat Pavlik by decision, on cleaner blows and defence. Pavlik would make it tough though with his work-rate.

Actually, if you take it in population terms and the EU rather than Europe, then the EU has only a moderately larger population than the USA.
