Edison Miranda, Howard Eastman and Khoren Gevor were decent, I was thinking more along the lines of his performances rather than his record anyways when I said ''impressive reign''

And you are arguing with me when I am just stating facts, quite a few people picked abraham to pull it off, and thats a fact. I didnt, but I can understand why people at the time did. As for your other comments about kessler, you can **** right off because you are being an ignorant little shithead who isnt using any logic. Kessler is a quality fighter end of:rasta

You should watch Ward's interview after the NY presser. Ward said "The tournament was built for Europeans. Kessler was the favourite with Abraham as #2 and Froch as the wild card. The Americans were only the opponents."

OK, it's not the exact quote (too lazy to find it), but that's pretty much what he said. Isn't it exactly what you blame the "Euro's to use as an excuse?

Yeah getting his jaw shattered by a fighter in Miranda who has failed every time he has fought elite competition is magnificent.

    Eastman and Gevor? Oh gosh.

Seriously foo, ya boys were overrated. Just tell it like it is.

Who's Ward Barley, and where did he travel to? :huh

The Super 6 title is squarely in the US's pocket. Bet on it, cuss it's a sure thing!

    Hypothetically:

    Round 1:

Froch ekes out a close decision at home against Dirrell

Ward wins handily at home versus Kessler

    Round 2:

Froch loses a close decision to Kessler on the road

Ward LOSES a close decision to fighter xx on the road

    Round 3:

Froch outclasses caveman Abraham on neutral ground

Ward wins handily against Bika at home

The conclusion is that both Froch and Ward have 4 points and advance to the semis. Froch beats declined replacement Johnson and Ward outclasses caveman Abraham in America, where everyone knew from the beginning that the semis and final would take place.

So even if we stick Ward with a loss in Europe, WE'RE STILL IN THE SAME PLACE.

Ward vs. Froch, for the Super Six title. Rejoice for a great matchup, right?

Michigan Warrior has never left the grand old US of A, and probably not even his home state - so any opinions he may have regarding leaving ones own country to go abroad are completely worthless.

Also, his boxing opinions are based solely on nationalistic/racial bias, so these too are completely worthless.

As this is a place designed solely as a forum to exchange boxing opinions, and his own are worthless, this means Michigan Warrior's entire existence on this forum is a worthless exercise in futility.

    Floored . . .

Froch has fought at home once. Ward has fought at home every time.

Even in your hypothtical scenario, Ward still only travels once, which isn't fair.

Tournaments should have a level playing field. The Super Six has been slanted in Ward's favour, which is a shame becuase he had all the tools to win it legitamately.

They were clearly both floored multiple times in the bout.

Who cares. Whether they fought home or away, Ward would still have reached the final and be ready to beat Froch - which is what matters.

It's funny that Ward started off as a +1000 underdog to win the whole thing and now people want to act like it was centered around him. I imagine part of the reason Kessler and Sauerland were to willing to travel to Ward's turf in the beginning is because they figured it would be a good way to get their away fight out of the way against a green American fighter. Talk about a backfire.
